  • All the hotels are situated on the Promenade and have been specially selected, with satisfied Opera Holiday customers returning year after year.
  • The pre-opera dinners are served in good time to get to the theatre and full Welsh breakfasts are included.
  • All rooms are en-suite and have tea and coffee making facilities.
    • Please note that extra discounts are available for groups of 10 or more!

NB - Lunch may be taken instead of dinner at the Imperial, St George and St Tudno hotels, by prior arrangement, on arrival at these hotels.

Theatre tickets
You may choose from the top three prices of theatre seats in either the stalls or the circle with surtitles visible (please see seating plan). There is a large car park at the theatre.

Opera breaks (minimum 2 operas) can be arranged to suit your own requirements and additional days can be added as rates shown – just contact Barbara Sandbach who will be happy to help. She will also be available in the theatre throughout the week for any further assistance you may require.

1. St Tudno Hotel
WTB 3H 3 AA Red Stars / 2 AA Rosettes

An award-winning hotel situated on the promenade opposite the Victorian Pier, just a short walk from the theatre. The hotel has a heated pool, lift to all floors and a car park. It enjoys a reputation as one of the most luxurious hotels in Great Britain. The Terrace Restaurant has been the recipient of several prestigious awards and is widely recognised as one of the best restaurants in Wales.

2. Cae Mor Hotel
WTB 3* / AA 3*

This hotel combines a beautiful blend of Victorian period features with tasteful décor and surroundings. Overlooking the spectacular scenery of Llandudno Bay and located next to Venue Cymru, it has 23 bedrooms with a lift to all floors and car parking is guaranteed.

3.Imperial Hotel
WTB 4* AA 4* AA

Situated on the promenade with spectacular views of the bay, just a short walk from Venue Cymru and the ideal base from which to explore the delights of North Wales. The hotel has 98 recently refurbished bedrooms, a lift and car park and offers all the facilities of a superior hotel. Guests have full use of the hotels’ 45 ft. heated pool, spa pool, sauna, steam room and two gyms. The award-winning restaurant has an extensive menu using fresh local produce.

4. St George's Hotel
WTB 4* AA 4*

This hotel cleverly combines its stunning setting and traditional Victorian elegance with all the comfort of a luxurious hotel. Every detail of the hotel is designed to offer a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, calm moods and professional approach to service. With its prime location on the promenade, it is only 12 minutes walk away from the theatre and has a lift and car park.

5. Kinmel Hotel
WTB 3H (awaiting further grading)

A delightful Grade II listed building circa 1860, this family run hotel on the promenade, approximately five minutes walk from the theatre, provides those little extras to make your stay memorable. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and in the restaurant, home cooked meals are served in delightful surroundings. A lift has been installed and there is a free car park at the rear of the hotel.

 

6. Shelbourne Hotel
WTB 3*

Situated on the central promenade, 140 metres from the theatre, this 15 bed roomed, hotel has a lift to all floors and guarantees private car parking at the rear of the hotel. An a la carte menu is available in a pleasant, relaxed environment with friendly personal attention.

 

7. Esplanade Hotel
WTB 2* AA 2*

An impressive seafront hotel, under the same ownership for over 70 years, which ensures the little personal touches are not overlooked by the dedicated staff. Imaginative, traditional cuisine with friendly, attentive service. The hotel has a lift to the 60 tastefully furnished first and second floor bedrooms. Significant free car park and only 12 minutes stroll to the theatre.

8. Sherwood Hotel
WTB 3*

Situated on the promenade with magnificent views of the bay, just five minutes easy walk to the theatre. This private hotel has a large car park and is proud of its reputation for excellent cuisine, cleanliness and comfort.

 

 

9. Stratford hotel
WTB 4* AA 4*

This elegant, superior, seafront hotel with panoramic views of the bay, has been furnished to the highest standard, offering friendly, relaxed five star service. Approximately five minutes walk to the theatre with unrestricted parking. Room and breakfast only, but reservations for dinner at the theatre can be made.
